What is the wind doing?

Recently reported wind at Met Éireann weather stations. A station measures local conditions; it does not predict the output of a wind farm.

Loading the station map. Every reading is available in the table below.

Select a station on the map or from the station list. Map locations use the published station descriptions and airport reference coordinates; stations without a verified map location remain in the list and table.

Select a station to read its wind speed, direction and reported gust.

Wind speed is shown in knots and km/h. A missing gust is not zero: the published report only shows qualifying gusts.

The CSV has no observation timestamp; use the official report for its observation time. Fetch time: 2026-11-02T18:12:28+00:00.

Weather and wind power are different measurements.

Station location, measurement height and local terrain differ from wind-farm conditions. Use the index for actual generation and the Wind Atlas for long-term modelled resource.
